iGene - Web Portal
The iGene web portal allows referring physicians to interface securely with your internal iGene database over a standard internet connection. This facilitates:
- Ability to enter provisional patient demographic information
- Ability to enter referral details online and print relevant barcodes
- View the available tests offered by the service
- Receive secure notification posted from within iGene
- View relevant test documentation and procedure guidelines for sample submission
- View results securely online
- Monitor the current status of test requests anytime
- Submit questionnaires or consent for patients if required
The iGene portal is securely hosted outside of the hospital infrastructure. All communication is securely handled by the mWare interface that talks to the web portal and iGene.
