The procedure review process within iPassport provides the user with the flexibility to suit their unique needs and requirements without compromising on the important procedure review process itself.
With the procedure review process starting with the creation of a review of the document itself, all reviews are tasked to either users or distribution lists that can then provide their comments and feedback to the author. This peer review process is an important part of the procedure review process, as it allows everyone to have a say and thus reducing possible mistakes.

iPassport’s email functionality means that not only do the users receive a task on the system, but they receive an email informing them that the author requires their input as well as the date they would like this completed by.

To ensure that no information is lost, iPassport keeps a record of all users comments whether they were acted upon or not. If they were not, the author is required to provide a comment for reference as to why they choose not to incorporate the comments into the latest version.

Once all of the comments have been compiled and added into the latest version, it is then possible for the author to request another review to ensure all are happy with the final document.

However, the review step is not required within iPassport. It is there if the user requires it, and with its key role within the procedure review process it is felt that this will play a vital role for all authors, providing valuable feedback from key staff.
