Test Worksheets
Automatic production of test worksheets for techniques such as PCR and Southern Blotting including lane designation for patients and controls, records of reagent batch numbers and PCR programs. This improves reproducibility, reducing transcription and other human errors. Another important benefit of this approach is that gel and lane information are recorded in the patient record (an aid to vertical auditing).

Reaction conditions, batch numbers and other procedure details can be recorded and audited.

Results
Gel images can be attached to samples or worksheets. Additionally references to sequence data may be recorded.

Reports
Automatic report writing with standard report feature including analyses performed, full results and interpretation. This facility is fully editable, reduces human error and reduces time spent reporting whilst allowing the scientist to tailor reports for specific patients.

Auditing Made Easy
Hours of time are saved by Genial Passport because it produces accurate statistics at the touch of a button. For example, it can generate a comprehensive annual report comparing current figures to those of previous years in a matter of seconds. This is useful for analysing underlying trends. It can also produce information required for quality assessments, such as the UK NEQAS scheme. A daily audit is automatically generated allowing laboratories to have full knowledge of their current average reporting times, oldest cases, quality assessments and other useful information. This allows laboratories to effectively monitor changes as they occur.

• Laboratories can customise Genial Passport to suit their own needs. They can choose their own codes or categories as required enabling fast retrieval of useful information.
