iPassport provides a dedicated module for COSHH management, with controlled authorisation steps, review scheduling, version control and full document history among many of the features designed specifically for laboratory document control. The system allows users to upload their COSHH and MSDS documents into their electronic record, which is then included into one single controlled print-out, assisting COSHH management and reducing paperwork significantly.

Extensive search tools and filters have been included in the system for quick and simple document retrieval and a separate tab to list all records due for review, supporting task organisation for optimum COSHH compliance.

Upon login to iPassport the home page displays a COSHH compliance overview, including number of records to be authorised, number due for review and number of reagents still requiring COSHH authorisation providing users with a simple, ‘at-a-glance’ review of their documents.

iPassport has the ability to create PDF, CSV and Excel reports of records so that users can manipulate data in Excel and to organise their workloads, promoting COSSH compliance. The system also boasts a ‘PIN and Signature’ feature which gives the health care organisation the option to require a PIN number for document authorisation, embedding the user’s scanned signature into the printed PDF document, demonstrating enhanced document security and COSHH compliance.

Total COSHH management can be organised within the eQMS iPassport system, allowing easy assess to all related documents and providing clear and concise audit trails of document history, compliant to most commonly-used UK standards.
